With the launch weekend of the 7th Arts by the Sea Festival round the corner, ( October 14th) preparations are almost complete for the more than 70 acts and events taking place this autumn across Bournemouth’s many and varied venues. 8 amazing days of talented artists and a multitude of intriguing events in the beautiful setting of Bournemouth. There is a broad mix of visual and performance art, live music, dance, museum open days, comedy, magic, kids’ raves and entertainment, light installations, film screenings and workshops.
While the core of the Arts by the Sea Festival programme takes place outdoors – particularly during the Opening Weekend 14th and 15th October in the Lower and Central Gardens, The Bandstand , The Pier , The Square and The Seafront – there is a wealth of talent on show at such renowned venues as Shelley Theatre, Pavilion Dance and other locations like St Peter’s Church and The Old Firestation.
