Coming from Switzerland, Guggenmusik translates as ‘happy music’. Expect a visual treat of coloured costumes combined with bass drums, trumpets, trombones, euphoniums and sousaphones. Watch Gugge 2000, the first Guggenmusik band in the UK who are based in Dorset who play lively, loud and highly entertaining music with a huge feel-good factor.
Playing both inside and outside events and often draw (passing) audiences of up to a thousand at large events - for example The London Marathon and Worcester Live Festival. They have been fortunate enough to have performed not only around the UK but also large international festivals in Germany, Spain, Austria and Switzerland.
Gugge 2000 play music that is well known but in a very unique and upbeat style with a range of percussion and brass instruments, their audiences really engage with their infectious music style and visual performances. A performance not to be missed!
