Do you like music, art and festivals? And are you aged 18-25 years old? Arts by the Sea is working in partnership with Emergency Exit Arts to give aspiring young creatives the skills and knowledge to kickstart a career in the outdoor arts sector. And you’ll help programme our festival in 2021!
Our Trainee Producers Scheme consists of a series of workshops that will run over 12 months from October 2020. They are free to take part in with paid expenses for participants. Over the course of the programme, you will learn several skills needed to successfully produce events in the outdoor arts sector as we navigate events post-lockdown and Covid-19. Each session will explore a new topic including; What makes a good outdoor event; How to identify your target audience; and Successful finance management. Plus, at the end of the scheme, the group will commission part of the art programme for Arts by the Sea 2021.
If you want to turn your passion into a career in the outdoor arts sector, you can join members of Emergency Exit Arts as they give a programme introduction via Zoom on Wednesday 16th September at 3pm and 6pm. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a link.
