The West Howe Tale Trail is completely FREE and features some of the best of local talent presenting six stories that you can see in any order around Moore Avenue Community Park.
Come along and see Black Cherry Company interact with the audience creating innovative spontaneous devised performances, Grant Sharkey & The Lockdown Band telling incredible stories musically, Squidge & Pop using bubbles to create a magical visual narrative, whilst Urban Furniture Perspective challenge the audience to become explorers finding mutant insects, Tall Tails Theatre will invite to join the fight of their incredible superheroes against climate change and the DFA Dancers will entertain in a one-off lunchtime appearance.
Suitable for all ages, you can start your trail anytime between 11am and 3pm with free popcorn and a raffle at the end.
We have designed the day with your safety in mind and followed Government guidance about ensuring events are COVID-secure. The Tale Trail is outdoors, and you can see the performances in any order to allow you to maintain social distancing from others. Please make sure to visit in groups of maximum 6 people (from your household or bubble) and we recommend you wear a face covering and wash or sanitise your hands before and after the event.
