Art and Media with Bournemouth & Poole College

As part of this year’s Arts by the Sea Festival, students from Bournemouth and Poole College’s Level 3 Art & Design courses will be bringing creativity directly to the streets.

Fine Art students will transform pavements with large-scale chalk murals and hand out custom colouring pages for all ages.

Graphic Design students will send festival goers on interactive adventures with AR games, combining digital play with maps and puzzle sheets.

Photography students will run a mobile studio and pop-up photobooth, capturing the spirit of the day in spontaneous snapshots. 3D Design students will host a hands-on workshop where visitors can help craft a vibrant display of flowers made from reused and reclaimed materials, exploring themes of sustainability.

Fashion students will invite the public to follow the “Threads of the Town” Fashion trail along with additional crafting activities along with information about the college will be available in the Community Zone.
