Light Up Poole

As daylight fades, Poole will provide a dramatic backdrop to a series of interactive digital Light Art installations designed to inspire, delight and enchant residents and visitors. Both emerging and international artists will showcase their ground-breaking work in a celebration of Poole’s cultural diversity, rich heritage and unique location in partnership with leading cultural organisations.
Working with partners including Arts University Bournemouth, Soundstorm, Lighthouse Poole, Wave Arts Education Agency, Bournemouth University, Poole Museum, NAPA Lighted Arts Festival, Ordered Universe, Durham University, Arts & Humanities Research Council and University of Southampton, the festival will showcase over 20 experiences including new commissions and world premieres, throughout Poole Town Centre and along the Quayside every night from 21st– 23rdFebruary 2019 from 6pm – 9pm.
Prepare to experience Projection Mapping, Celestial stilt walkers, light-emitting poetry, Silent Disco, a multi-projector immersive light space, beacons of light, Community Talks, a wealth of light installations and even a Light Up Poole Cruise!
