Delivering COVID-secure events: Key principles and learnings

This September Without Walls hosted an online webinar in collaboration with Arts by the Sea for its partners to share practical tips and advice on delivering COVID-secure Outdoor Events.

Mat Ort, the freelance Production Manager of Without Walls worked closely throughout the summer with Without Walls supported artists and organisations to help them adapt and create new work that could be delivered safely within social distancing guidelines.

After attending the first full outdoor arts festival to take place following the pandemic, Greenwich and Docklands International Festival, Mat shared his learnings including good practices and information gathered from across the sector.

In this webinar, Mat shared his findings as well as giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions about specific circumstances and challenges. As a result, this session brought together a number of partners in the touring Network and was held on the lead up to Bournemouth Arts by the Sea festival, the second outdoor arts festival to go ahead in 2020.
