Arts by the Sea Festival launches retrospective photo campaign for it’s 10th Anniversary!

March 9th

The Bournemouth-based arts and culture festival is inviting guests from the past 10 years to dig through their photo archives and upload their favourite memories to the official Arts by the Sea website for the chance to become part of its celebratory event this September.

To celebrate ten years of bringing an inclusive and diverse mix of arts and culture to Bournemouth’s south coast, Arts by the Sea Festival has launched a commemorative photo-based campaign that past revellers can take part in. Festival goers who have attended any of the events over the past 10 years are invited to visit the official Arts by the Sea website where they can upload their favourite moments in photo form. During the festival weekend, which takes place from Friday 25th September to Sunday 27th September 2020 in various indoor and outdoor spaces across Bournemouth’s beautiful locations, Arts by the Sea will publish an anniversary gallery online featuring these images as a thank you to audiences from across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole for their continued support over the years. Those wanting to take part should visit http://bit.ly/10YearsABTS and start uploading!

Although the programme for the 10th anniversary is still under wraps, Arts by the Sea did reveal in late 2019 that ‘Journeys’ would be the theme for the 2020 event. This aptly titled theme celebrates a decade-long journey of bringing artists and audiences together in Bournemouth, while ushering in the next chapter for the festival as it activates new projects across the wider conurbation. Visitors can expect to witness and participate in another year of intriguing, exciting and unique carnivalesque celebration of art, across many forms, and most of it is free to attend.

With over 100 performances, workshops and exhibitions, and an anticipated crowd of over 100,000 people, Arts by the Sea 2020 is set to be another exhilarating year of art and culture offering depth, insight and excitement.
