Celebrate the power of words with Read by the Sea, curated and hosted by Mayu Rousant of Bournemouth poetry night Getting Poetical. Supported by the National Literacy Trust as part of the National Year of Reading, local poets and guest artists will perform alongside an open mic where everyone is welcome to share their own writing, read a favourite poem, perform in the language that feels most like home or simply listen.
